Coolidge Corner Wine & Spirits is a neighborhood beverage shop featuring a wide variety of quality products and lots of creative events. In addition to their free wine tastings, the store promotes local restaurants during frequent wine-and-food pairings. They also support local artists who provide live outdoor music every week in the spring and summer.
Co-owners Darren Tow and David Ng founded Coolidge Corner Wine & Spirits two years ago. Darren, a Brookline native and wine-lover, saw the wine shop as an opportunity to get more involved in the community. He collaborated with his long-time friend David, also a wine enthusiast who also happens to be skilled in accounting, and the two friends have been working together happily ever since.
The store boasts a wide variety of North American and imported wine along with a great selection of champagne, sparkling wine, and sake. The extensive beer and ale section includes many craft and local beers, and the myriad shelves of liquor hold a few interesting surprises.
David and Darren make every effort to create a great atmosphere for their customers, and so they're always open to requests and recommendations. They also offer case discounts and delivery.
