I graduated from Johnson and Wales in 1994 with a degree in Culinary Arts and have always had a dream of opening my own restaurant -- Sandwich Works is the realization of this dream.
Sandwich Works was opened 18 years ago in Newton Center by my close friend -- and has been the go-to place in Newton-Center ever since. After working there and seeing how popular it is in Newton, we realized we wanted to bring to Brookline what we had created in Newton.
People come to Sandwich Works for a quick snack, a delicious sandwich or a tasty treat. We offer high-quality, fresh food at reasonable prices. Some of our most popular items include our delicious tuna salad, cranberry walnut chicken salad, turkey clubs, 35 different soups and homemade brownies that are simply decadent.
We always listen to our customers, so when they told us they wanted us to cater parties for them, we listened. Our catering menu now includes everything from breakfast platters, sandwich platters and five-foot subs to full chicken parmesan and turkey dinners.
We love getting to know our customers and enjoy being a part of the community. We believe that we can help less fortunate people by giving back, so we choose to donate our tips to local charities which are chosen by our customers.
