Christine Stewart's passion for travel began when she spent a semester studying at London's School of Economics. After graduating from Drew University she returned to Europe and lived in The Netherlands for two years. (There she got used to biking everywhere and continues to do so to this day.) Upon her return to the United States, she wandered "where the winds blew" until settling down with college friends living in Brookline. Not long thereafter she found a job as a travel agent and began arranging other people's journeys. Before opening her own business in 1984, she also worked as a meeting planner, tour escort, travel school instructor and International Rate Agent for TWA. The training she received as a Rate Agent allows her to compete successfully against the Internet, beyond which she is graced with an exceptional staff.
Christine thrives on the diversity of her profession and is consistently uplifted by her clients, who epitomize her belief that travel opens minds and engenders tolerance.
When not working, she's "on the road" as much as possible with her husband and photographer, Richard Wood. Most recently they spent a week in Guatemala and highly recommend Antigua and Lake Atitlan.
