I opened the Children's Orchard with my husband's help in 1993. Our aim has been to offer a knowledgeable and easy-on-the-pocket source of resale and new, high-quality clothing, toys and equipment for practical-minded parents. We provide a pleasing and friendly atmosphere where customers can shop and sell comfortably. Many of our customers are both buyers and sellers. We feature top-quality brands such as Gap, Gymboree and Talbots, boutique brands such as Baby Lulu and Wes&Willy, and European brands such as Petit Bateau and Oilily. We carry sizes newborn to 16. Our new clothing includes boutique overstocks, tights, socks, sleepwear and accessories.
We have enjoyed being a part of the Newton/Brookline communities over these past 15 years. We now count among our customers new parents who first came to shop with their parents. We've received many awards including Best of Boston and a number of TAB Readers' Choice Awards. Still, most gratifying is the personal feedback from customers.
