The Wine Gallery, voted Boston's Best Wine Shop for 2006 and 2007 by Boston Magazine, opened its doors on Valentine's Day 2004. Founded by a father and son pair of Russian immigrants and long-time Brookline residents, wine lovers Alex and Igor Ostrovsky sought to open a different kind of wine shop: spacious, friendly, knowledgeable, clean, well-stocked, with great prices and a fair discount policy. A place where someone could taste and learn about wines.
The Wine Gallery's WINE JUKEBOX allows free samples of 48 different wines, anytime the store is open. The Wine Jukebox dispenses free half-ounce samples of 48 wines: 16 whites and 32 reds.
