I was born and raised in Simmern, a small town in the Hunsrtuck region of Germany. I completed my training and four-year apprenticeship as a hair stylist in Germany before moving to the United States in the early 1970's. Throughout the 1970's and 1980's, I practiced as a professional stylist exclusively in Brookline. I have always enjoyed and been inspired by the energy of Brookline and the experience of working with a diverse clientele.
In 1991, I opened Crew International, a full-service hair salon that provides clients with a broad range of hair design and specialized color services, including highlighting and color correction. In the 16 years since I opened Crew International, it has grown to include an experienced staff of 21 professional stylists.
I am proud that Crew International has continued to thrive as an independent salon in spite of the arrival of larger chain businesses in the area. Many of our current clients have been with us since we opened and we always welcome new clients to stop in to inquire about the vast selection of services that Crew International offers. We also carry an impressive variety of professional styling products and treatments and our stylists are always available to help clients find the products that are best suited to their needs.
